The City of Oneida Parks and Recreation has closed its building until further notice pending the delivery and repair of the building’s boiler. The boiler had failed Sunday, Jan. 4.
According to their Facebook page the part needed to repair the boiler was expected to arrive Monday morning, Jan. 5 but delivery was delayed until Wednesday, Jan. 7. Until the heat is fully restored, the Rec Center will remain closed.
“We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this,” Oneida Parks and recreation Director Luke Griff said. “Our team will continue to share updates as soon as more information becomes available.”
