On Wednesday, Nov. 12 the New York State Police Troop D Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team joined the Community Stabilization Unit, Special Investigations Unit and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office to execute a search warrant at 138 Cornwall Ave., Utica.
Upon execution of the search warrant authorities seized more than three ounces of cocaine, more than two ounces of crystal methamphetamine, more than one ounce of crack cocaine, over 1/8 ounce of fentanyl and cutting agents, various drug packaging materials, a scale and cell phones.
After the investigation authorities arrested Richard Brown, 52, Utica and charged him with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A-II felony and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.
Authorities transported Brown to the Oneida County Centralized Arraignment to await arraignment.
