According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Sangerfield man was arrested following a warrant execution.
On Thursday, May 29 the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division responded to Circle K in the town of Sangerfield while conducting a proactive patrol detail.
Upon the deputies’ arrival, they recognized and identified Glen A. Sauerhafer, 40, who had an outstanding warrant out of Augusta Town Court for one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Said charges stemmed from a traffic stop conducted by road patrol deputies in April 2025. Subsequent to the arrest, Sauerhafer was transported to the Kurt Wyman Law Enforcement Building, where he was booked and processed. Sauerhafer remains in the Oneida County Correctional Facility, awaiting centralized arraignment.
